EcxFTP has been created and tested on Mac OS X 10.4.6 and has also been tested with Mac OS X 10.2 and 10.3. It runs on any Macintosh with a G3 processor or faster. Below you see a screenshot of the FTP client in action. Click the picture to view a larget version of the screenshot.
EcxFTP is a nice little application that can sit in a corner of your screen or in the dock until you need it. When you need a file from your FTP server, you quickly bring ecxFTP to front, choose the server of your choice from the bookmarks menu, navigate to your file and download it. EcxFTP works quite similar to the way you have always browsed files in Mac OS X.
Naturally, you can also upload files from your computer to your FTP account. Want to share pictures, music or movies with your friends? Simply use ecxFTP to put the files on-line, without the need for any third-party online services.
EcxFTP is the perfect solution for webmasters who have to set up cgi and php scripts. With the built-in permissions manager, you can view and change permissions instantly. You can also activate FTP on your own Mac and use EcxFTP to manage invisible files and to change permissions when needed.
Download ecxFTP
ecxFTP runs on any PowerMac with Mac OS X 10.2 or later. It has not been tested with earlier MacOS versions. If you are using a Macintosh, AppleScript has to be installed. EcxFTP is now available for Macintosh PowerPC and Intel and is also available as a universal binary.
Unregistered copies of ecxFTP can download only three files during a session and expire after 30 days. Registered users get access to all features of the software. Make sure to read the license conditions before buying or using ecxFTP.
